Vancouver has a lot of things going for it: beautiful scenery, coffee shops on every part, plus some fantastic regional meals . But as my typical audience discover, Vancouver also has unwelcome properties: it’s extremely high priced, socially polarized and inward-looking. It’s also notoriously problematic for younger singles to get to know prospective mates in this city. And whenever The Tyee‘s Vanessa Richmond expected, “What the heck are completely wrong with guys within this area?” I couldn’t fight answering.

There’s a reasonable level of Vancouver-bashing happening given that the Canucks have really made it to their very first Stanley mug finals in 17 many years. The vast majority of talk shows the lukewarm attitudes with the rest of Canada enjoys towards “the more livable area into the world”.
